HAMAMEGURI AYUKAWA-HAMA ～Food Experience Cycling（16km）
This is a short cycling tour to enjoy seafoods and to know local life of Ishinomaki, Onagawa and Oshika Peninsula. It is the most basic activity plan of Soraumi cycling.
We will give you a lift from Onagawa station to the restaurant “HamaSaiSai”which is located in Oshika Peninsula and start cycling.
You will have fresh fish while interacting with the fishermen in Kobuchi-hama.
You can also experience beach cooking with locals and enjoy seafood lunch in Ayukawa-hama, the goal point of this tour.
Tour fee (8,000 yen) includes guide by the local riders, activity program at Kobuchi-hama, local food learning program and lunch at Ayukawa-hama, rental bicycle, transportation service between Onagawa station and Oshika Peninsula.

1.Onagawa Travel Information Platform “Plat” in front of JR Onagawa station
This tour starts/ends at the Onagawa Travel Information Platform “Plat” in front of JR Onagawa station. They not only provide tourist information but rent a bicycle as a cycling station.
2.Moms’ kitchen “HamaSaiSai” in Ogino-hama
In the restaurant“HamaSaiSai”, the local ladies fisherman's wife of Oshika Peninsula usually serve heart-warming dishes used fresh ingredients in season .
In this tour, we will give you lecture for safety ride at the beautiful green garden in front of “HamaSaiSai”and get ready for our journey.
3.Cycling by the ocean
You will be heading to the next stop Kobuchi-hama while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Pacific Ocean. The road of Rias coastline has hills and turns. If you have never tried sports bike before, the local guides who know the course will lead you with comfortable pace so you can ride safely.
4.Interacting with fishermen at Kobuchi-hama fishing port
At Kobuchi-hama fishing port, the local fishermen will bring us seasonal food they caught.
You can try them while listening to the fishermen's interesting story. They will tell you about this area and specialty. It will be the best experience of Soraumi Cycling.
5.Cycling along the sea of Oshika Peninsula
You will head to the goal point, Ayukawa-hama, with a view of the sea which was greatly damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake. This area is still in the process of recovering from the tsunami but you can see the beautiful ocean.
6.Eating experience and interaction with local people at Ayukawa-hama
The goal point of this cycling tour is Ayukawa-hama.
Ayukawa-hama is a rich repository of marine products. You will enjoy communicating with the local people and learn how to cook seafood at the beach.
7.Eating lunch at Ayukawa-hama
While spending time with the locals, you will have lunch used lots of freshly caught seafood. (Menu changes depending on the season)
8.Tour ends at "Seaparpia"
The tour ends after we drop you off at “Seaparpia” in front of Onagawa station. “Seaparpia” has so many interesting things such as “Danborghini” (Lamborghini made of cardboard), guitar factory to make an original electric guitar, restaurant which is famous for “Onagawa sashimi rice bowl” (a bowl of rice topped with sashimi), and popular cafe. These shops have been established to revitalize Onagawa. Onagawa is a great place to enjoy even after our cycling tour.

· The local cycling guide will attend the whole process.
· The participation fee includes food experience at Kobuchi-hama and lunch at Ayukawa-hama. Please bear the expenses of other foods and drinks on your own.
· Reservations are on a first-come-first-served basis for each schedule and will be closed when it reaches capacity.
· The minimum number of people is 4 people.If the application does not reach the minimum number of people, the tour will not take place.
